On June 4, BB Electronics, Denmark’s electronics manufacturing company, released the plan to move its factory located in Suzhou to a new site where there will be more space and storage to serve its customers’ requirements now and in the future.

With 10.500 m2 space increasing from 7.500 m2 of the current plant, BB Electronics’ new facility is expected to be fully functional and ready for settling in September 2019.

“Due to the success of our customers, we have experienced an increased demand for manufacturing space and storage.

“With larger orders and more customers, we need room to store more components and raw materials, and more storage facilities for finished goods,” the company stated in its media release.

Located in the SIP-HMITZ area, 30 minutes closer to Shanghai International Airport, the new plant not only provides the company with bigger room but also alleviates the company in importing, exporting and making customs and clearance procedures easier.

BB Electronics also announced that its new factory will enable the company to keep up with its customers’ future growth and box build requirements as well as to fulfill more of its customers’ value chain such as box build, configuration, shipment and distribution.

“This underlines our need for new, larger facilities,” BB Electronics highlighted.

Founded in 1975 and headquartered in Horsens, Denmark, BB Electronics cited that it is one of Scandinavia’s leading service companies in the field of electronics production. With about 700 employees and production facilities in China, the Czech Republic and Denmark, BB Electronics offered services within design for manufacturing, sourcing, production, test, box build and system integration, distribution, and after sales services.
