Detection Technology’s new factory in Beijing was inaugurated on 4 November. The new 4 000 m2 facility is located in the Southeast Beijing Business Development Area (BDA). The building of the new factory started during the second quarter of 2015 and the facility will be fully ramped up by end of November. The majority of the employees have moved to the new facility from DT’s old Beijing factory, which is now being closed down.
Detection Technology designs and manufactures high performance, advanced, reliable and cost-efficient X-ray imaging components and systems for medical, security and industrial applications. DT’s detector solutions are used by more than 150 customers in more than 40 countries.
