Danish man stabbed in Pattaya

On the night of February 28, 2025, at approximately 10:36 PM, a 22-year-old Danish national named Daniel was found with multiple stab wounds on Chalerm Phrakiet Road in Nongprue, Bang Lamung, Pattaya. Emergency responders reported significant bleeding from his right arm and head. Despite the severity of his injuries, Daniel declined hospital treatment, refused to provide details about the incident, and chose not to press charges.

A local resident, Ms. Sai, discovered the injured tourist and alerted emergency services but was unaware of the circumstances leading to his injuries. Pattaya City Police are reviewing CCTV footage to investigate the incident. However, without the victim’s cooperation or a formal complaint, legal proceedings may be limited under Thai law.

Among the Danish man’s many tattoos, the words “Mi Vida Loca” on his back stands out – meaning “My Crazy Life”. Placed on his back, and without three dots arranged in a triangle, it is not an indication of affiliation to any gang culture in Denmartk but more of just a personal embrace of a wild and unpredictable way of living.

After receiving initial medical attention at the scene and speaking with the police, Daniel left without further medical intervention.

This incident follows a similar case earlier this year, where a Russian tourist was injured in a stabbing on Jomtien Second Road in Pattaya.
