Danish Planet Saigon releases calender of events 2015/16

From October 2015 Danish Planet Saigon has created an overview over coming events. The calendar generally consists of events that have run for the last several years.

Reminders will be sent out before the upcoming events. The first one will happen Friday 2 October and will be one of the classic DPS events where wine and cheese will be shared with old and/or new friends.

Here is the calender for 2015/16:

Friday 2/10 – Wine and Cheese 1

One of DPS’s classic events, where we can meet old friends or make new friends. This will be hosted by Mr. and Ms. Svendsen

Sunday 29/11 – Christmas lunch

This year we will make a change and have an event at MADhouse with Danish food, a la the Grundlovs event 2015.

Monday 30/11 – Christmas Event

Bringing the Danish Priest to HCMC last year turned out to be a great success and will be repeated this year again.

Friday 22/1 – Wine and Cheese 2

One of DPS’s classic events, where we can meet old friends or make new friends.

Sunday 7/2 – Fastelavn

This year it looks like we can have Fastelavn on the correct date. This will be held at MADHouse.

Sunday27/3 – Easter

We will try to hold a Easter event this year with activities for the kids. There will be a Paaske platte with traditional Danish Easter food. The event will be held at MADHouse.

Friday 20/5 – Wine and Cheese 3

One of DPS’s classic events, where we can meet old friends or make new friends.

Sunday 5/6 – Grundlovsdag

We will again celebrate the Danish Constitution, including a constitution speech. The event will be at MADHouse.

We have tried to coordinate the calendar with other “Dane related events”. If we have missed something and one of the above events collides with another pre-arranged event, then please let us know and we will try to come up with an alternative date.

We are grateful to, again this year, have the generous support of Jyske Bank.
