Ronni K. Gothard Christiansen, Danish tech entrepreneur and AesirX founder, will take the stage at ETH Vietnam 2025, one of Southeast Asia’s key blockchain conferences, set to be held on 9–10 August at the historic Independence Palace in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Ronni Christiansen is scheduled to speak on the panel titled “Why It’s Time to Build with ZKPs” on 9 August from 13:45 to 14:15. The discussion will focus on the growing importance of Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) in addressing real-world compliance and privacy concerns.
What is a ZKP
A Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) is a cryptographic method that allows a person to confirm that something is true without revealing other information.
A real-life scenario of ZKP can be seen on websites where you can confirm that you are over 18 without revealing your exact birthdate. ZKPs are a powerful tool for privacy and security in digital systems, especially in blockchain and Web3.
“I want to reflect how my company uses blockchain for something real, something of value, that solves real problems in the world,” Ronni Christiansen explains in an interview with ScandAsia.
“I want to get across to the audience that blockchain is not just something used in cryptocurrencies, it can be used for extremely concrete issues like safety and privacy online.” he says.
The event gathers developers, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders in the blockchain space and features discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities around the future of decentralised technologies.
