Mr. John Nielson, Danish Ambassador to Myanmar signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with Myanmar’s Anti-Corruption Commission. The diplomatic meeting was to acquiring technical assistance in compiling surveys related to combating corruption and capacity building, at Nay Pyi Taw’s Hilton Hotel, 30th October 2019.
The Ani-Corruption Commission Chairman U Aung Kyi and Danish State Secretary for Development Policy, Ms Trine Rask Thygesen, both delivered opening addresses. This was followed by U Htin Kyaw, Director-General of ACC’s Administration Department, and Danish Ambassador Mr John Nielsen signing the LoI.
Afterwards, the ACC Chairman and Danish State Secretary separately met to discuss promoting integrity and anti-corruption measures.
