The second-round field trip of Integrated Coastal Management Training, supported by Denmark together with the Forest Department in Myanmar, was launched on May 13, 2019 at the Forest Department located in Naypyidaw, Myanmar.
As a part of the Denmark-Myanmar Coastal Climate Adaptation Programme, the training aimed to fight against deforestation and avoid the negative effects of climate change by replanting mangrove forest..
The training also provided participants from different departments of both the government and non-governmental organizations and civil society organizations with the deep understanding and knowledge toward managing and conserving the coastal areas and resources of Myanmar.
