Press release: The Embassy’s Cultural Development and Exchange Fund (CDEF) has granted financial support to eight independent art-spaces and art-initiatives. The grantees are Hanoi DOCLAB, Heritage Space, Manzi Art Space, Matca, Nha San Studio, REC ROOM, The Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents, and Then Café.
CDEF is a part of the Danish culture programme in Vietnam, which promotes creativity in art, people’s access and participation as well as cultural diversity. Since its launch in 2006, the program has supported hundreds of successful projects and artists, assisting Vietnam in creating a vibrant contemporary arts scene.
