Svenska tennisforbundet has come to an agreement with Lidkopings council, to play the important play-off match in Fed Cup against Thailand, on April 19-20, at the Sparbanken Lidkoping Arena.
Two weeks ago Sweden played Poland in Fed Cup and won. Next up is Thailand, which is the first ever match up between Swedish female Tennis and Thai ditto.
Forbundskaptajn, Lars-Anders Wahlgren, is looking forward to the match.
“This is a good opportunity for Swedish Female Tennis – but Thailand is a team, that we have to beat, “ he confidently stated.
The game will played on hard court at the Arena, and the Lidkoping council mentions in a press release, that they are proud to attract a international tennis game to their city.
