Human rights, environment regional course held by Sweden

The first regional blended learning course on Human Rights and Environment under a new agreement between Sweden and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI) took place during 17-21 July 2017, reports the Embassy of Sweden, Bangkok.

The training was jointly arranged by RWI, ASEAN CSR Network and International Commission of Jurists with participants from nine Asian countries. Anne-Charlotte Malm, Head of the Development Cooperation Section, noted in her opening remarks that this course is spot on what the Swedish regional development cooperation strategy aims at – to contribute to a sustainable development in Asia and the Pacific where environment and human rights are protected and respected.
