In his opening speech, chargé d’affaires a.i. Daniel Johansson spoke about the potential of collaboration on innovation and sustainability – two issues close to the heart of all Swedes. He underscored Sweden’s ambition to be part of Indonesia’s journey towards becoming a high-income country with a great innovative capacity, and that a Swedish centre at Universitas Indonesia would serve as a perfect venue for various collaborative efforts involving academia as well as business.
