Embassy of Sweden, Hanoi on 10 December held a traditional Lucia Reception.
Lucia is an old tradition celebrated all over Sweden. Along midsummer, the Lucia celebrations represent one of the most foremost cultural Swedish traditions. Lucia is an ancient mythical figure with an abiding role as a bearer of light in the dark Swedish winters.
Nearly 700 guests attended in a nice ambient full of traditional Swedish food, drinks and beautiful music.
As this was the last event by the Swedish Embassy in Vietnam for 2015 the embassy says thank you very much for coming and contributing to make it a great and fun year for Embassy of Sweden Hanoi.
