The Danish company Damco is one of the world’s leading third party logistics providers specialising in customised freight forwarding and supply chain solutions. The company has 11,400 employees and more than 300 offices around the world and a global presence in about 100 countries. In Vietnam, Damco is a pioneer in the logistics sector. The company has been operating and investing in Vietnam for more than 20 years. Only one month ago Damco opened a new, state-of-art warehouse in Hai Phong province and yesterday the company celebrated the opening of their new office in Ho Chi Minh City.
Cutting the red ribbon, Danish Ambassador John Nielsen congratulated Damco: “It has taken great efforts from all parties involved and underlines the increasing importance of logistics in international trade. Damco’s global efforts joined with the open minds, outstanding diligence, and the rich culture of Vietnamese employees is a unique combination that creates opportunities for the future ” said John Nielsen.
