Who will do what in the event of a major crisis or large scale incident in Singapore which affects Norwegian citizens or assets?
How will Singaporean authorities respond; what are the responsibilities of the Embassy and what should companies do to be prepared? How will we share resources and information? Even if we rightly consider Singapore to be a very safe place these questions need to be raised.
That is why the Embassy, NBAS and Innovation Norway are inviting to a Security Forum, to be held at the Fullerton Hotel 20 May from 2 to 5 pm. The meeting will feature briefings by the Singaporean government and the Head of Security of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Norwegian companies will share “best practices” – our aim is to present some concrete takeaways that will enable companies in their contingency planning.
