New procedures for handling visas, residence and work permits in Vietnam

The Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam made an announcement about new procedures for handling visa, residence and work permits starting from September 3.

Starting September 3 new procedures for handling visas, residence and work permits will enter in to force in Ho Chi Minh City.

All:

· Short term visa applications for Denmark, Iceland and Lithuania
· Long term applications, including all types of residence and work permits, for Denmark

Should be submitted at the Visa Application Centre in Ho Chi Minh City (address: Danish Visa Application Centre, Resco Building, 04th Floor, 94-96 Nguyen Du Street,
Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). The submission can take place without prior appointment.

Opening hours: Monday-Friday: 0830 – 1200 hours, & 1300 – 1500 hours, except on declared holidays. An additional service fee will be payable to the Visa Application Centre besides the applicable visa fee. Please note that all decision making is still made by the Danish Embassy in Hanoi.

The procedures in Hanoi for handling visas, residence and work permits remains unchanged until November 1st 2013. From this date applicants should submit applications to a newly opened Visa Application Centre in Hanoi. More information will follow in due time
