The Norwegian embassy in Hanoi announced on 13 November 2020 that between 17 November and 11 December 2020, the Embassy will carry out a pilot to test out simplified processes and forms for requesting child birth number for children born abroad.
People who wish to apply for birth numbers are asked ahead of attendance to answer the questions on the IRS page. After all questions are answered, the system will produce a list of procedures and documentation requirements.
