The Embassy of Norway to Malaysia hosted a breakfast meeting on 13 March 2019 for Ong Kian Ming, Malaysia’s Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry, and leading Norwegian companies in Malaysia.
The meeting provided representatives from the Norwegian companies the opportunity to share their experiences about working in Malaysia.
“We would like to thank YB Ong Kian Ming, as well as the key Norwegian companies for attending. It was insightful and inspiring to hear you all share your positive experiences” the Embassy of Norway to Malaysia wrote on a Facebook page.
On the same day, Gunn Jorid Roset, the Ambassador of Norway to Malaysia, together with Erlend Sannes Hadland, Deputy Head of Mission paid a visit to Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Communications and Multimedia of Malaysia.
They discussed and exchanged their point of views on the issues such as regulatory framework, media freedom and Norwegian business interests in Malaysia.
“We would like to thank the Minister for taking the time to meet with us.” wrote the Embassy.
