A Norwegian tourist Jan Homeland was found dead in his bedroom on Chiangmai’s riverside on the eve of Jan 28.
The 75-year-old’s wife who had been sleeping in another room, had called emergency services when she couldn’t wake him up.
Mae Ping police station reported that Homeland was found dead in his room on the 7th floor. A medical team said there had been no signs of a struggle.
The man’s wife said he had suffered from heart disease in the past.
His body was sent for an autopsy at Maharaj Nakorn hospital Chiang Mai.
