Norwegian’s launch party postponed

A ribbon cutting ceremony and dinner party to celebrate the launch of Norwegian’s new long-haul flights between Bangkok, Oslo and Stockholm for members of Thai-Norwegian and Thai Swedish Chamber of Commerce has been postponed due to cancellation of the flight that should have carried Norwegian’s CEO Bjørn Kjos and members of his senior management to Bangkok where the CEO was the key speaker.

“Due to aircraft technical reasons, the Norwegian Launch Party today has been postponed,” the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce informs on its website.

“Norwegian’s CEO Bjørn Kjos and members of his senior management were in dialogue with us yesterday evening, but at 05.00 (local Bangkok time) this morning it was decided that the aircraft carrying the team could not fly and together we reached the decision that it was better to postpone the event until a new date could be found.”

The Chamber ads that the event will be held later when a new date has been found and sincerely apologises for the inconvenience.
