Official opening of the new Danish Embassy in Vietnam

Royal Danish Embassy to Vietnam has moved out of the historical buildings in Dien Bien Phu Street in Hanoi and into a new office tower together with the Dutch Embassy.

Wednesday the 29th October Denmark and the Netherlands moved together in a joint Embassy on the 7th floor of the BIDV Tower in Hanoi.

“This joint opening is one way of showing that things are changing. That we will in the future share premises with other Embassies around the world. We have a lot in common with the Netherlands and we are happy to open an Embassy with a modern design and way of working”, said Danish Ambassador John Nielsen.

As part of the ceremony Ambassador Nielsen, Ambassador Trooster and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son revealed a special painting made by Vietnamese artist Fam Luc illustrating the shared features and values of Denmark and the Netherlands.

The new address is: 7th Floor, BIDV Tower, 194 Tran Quang Khai Street, Hanoi
