Orientation at the Danish Embassy

On Jan 9, Danish Embassy opened its door to 5 Thai students who will be doing an exchange-student programme in Denmark for a year to get the first glimpse of what’s it like in Denmark before departing the following week.

Five students from AFS Intercultural Programme visited the Danish Embassy last Wednesday to learn more about Denmark and Danish culture prior to their stay in Denmark.

The five students will be going to spend one year in Denmark and will start in 1.g at a Danish high school this week.

The students will be staying in different regions such as Herning, Præstø, Hellerup, Vejen and Grindsted with the host families. The trip will mark their their first visit to Denmark and Europe. The students stated that they have chosen Denmark because of the weather, the peacefulness and safety.
