Scania targets Philippine infrastructure, mining sectors

A Swedish truck assembler will set up a dealership in the Philippines to ride on the growth of the country’s infrastructure and mining sectors. scania_mining

In a statement, Scania Group said it has chosen BJ Mercantile Inc as the local sales and service dealer in the Philippines.

“Our partnership with BJ Mercantile Inc is a testament to Scania’s long-term commitment to the Philippines,” said James Armstrong, Scania managing director for Southeast Asia.

“We are here for the long-haul and our main objective is to offer total solutions that enhance customer profitability by means of high earning capacity and low operating cost, while promoting sustainability,” he said.
