Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has sent his congratulations to Norway’s newly-appointed Prime Minister Erna Solberg, Channel News Asia reported.
In his letter to Ms Solberg, cited by a Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement, Mr Lee said Singapore and Norway enjoy good bilateral relations.
The two countries cooperate in many areas, including trade and investment, and maritime issues, and work well together in regional and international forums, such as the Asia-Europe Meeting and the Arctic Council.
Prime Minister Lee said he looks forward to working with his Norwegian counterpart to strengthen bilateral ties.
