Sweden’s enterprise, innovation minister heads to China, Hong Kong

Sweden’s Minister for Enterprise and Innovation Mikael Damberg is visiting China on 9-11 September 2015 Minister Damberg’s trip will have a strong focus on CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), while he is also one of the speakers at the World Economic Forum in Dalian.

During his visit to Beijing Minister Damberg will, together with the Vice Minister of Commerce Mr Zhong Shan, sign a memorandum of understanding for continued cooperation on CSR between Sweden and China.

Another memorandum of understanding will be signed by Minister Damberg and the Minister of Land and Resources Mr Jiang Daming on sustainable mining.

Mr Damberg will also visit Hong Kong where he will meet with the Chief Executive CY Leung and the Secretary of Commerce and Economic Development Gregory So Kam-Leung. During his visit to Hong Kong the minister will also inaugurate Business Sweden’s new offices, as well as launch the SAS direct flight between Stockholm and Hong Kong.

While in China, Mikael Damberg will meet with representatives from Swedish companies in China to discuss the new national action plan for business and human rights to support exports from Sweden.
