Swedish companies open automotive training academy in China

On April 3, representatives from the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing attended the inauguration of the Beijing Alignment Academy. The academy was founded by Swedish companies Car-O-Liner and Josam and will offer collision repair training courses to technicians, insurance personnel, car manufacturers, technical instructors and schools within the automotive industry.

Car-O-Liner and Josam produce vehicle collision repair systems and are part of Team Sweden’s promotion project “Swedish Sustainable Transportation Solutions”. Counsellor Mikael Broman of the Embassy of Sweden was present at the inauguration. Mr Broman, Car-O-Liner’s Greater China CEO, Mr Jan Roos, and Alignment Systems’ CEO, Mr Johan Nordström, held speeches on the importance of developing an educated workforce within collision repair to guarantee safe vehicles and a safe transportation system.
