The Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Carl Bildt arrived in Beijing on Thursday morning. He will be in the city from December 6-8 for political talks and to participate in the Stockholm – China Forum.
The first day’s, December 6’s agenda is a visit to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where the Minister will meet the Chinese Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Stockholm – China Forum is a yearly meeting where government representatives, researchers and journalists from Europe, USA and Asia discuss developments in China. This year’s meeting will be held between 7-8 December and is the first meeting to be held in China since the start in 2007. Minister Bildt will speak at the meeting.
During the Bildt’s visit to Beijing he will also meet with Chinese and international economists as well as representatives for Swedish Business in China.
