The Vietnamese Government is ready to create good conditions for Finnish investors to operate in Vietnam, especially in the areas they have a competitive edge, said National Assembly Vice Chairperson Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.
Ngan made the remark while meeting with the visiting Chair of the Audit Committee of the Finish Parliament Tuija Brax in Vietnam ‘ s capital Hanoi on Monday, adding that Vietnam is willing to create favorable condition for Finish businesses to invest in Vietnam.
Speaking of Finland’s support to Vietnam, Ngan proposed Finland to further consider the adjustment of official development assistance for Vietnam, focusing on new cooperation areas including trade policy, climate change, energy and clean technology.
Tuija Brax, for her part, emphasized that cooperation in trade and investment are among top priorities in Finland-Vietnam relations. The visit is one of the activities that contribute to boosting traditional friendship between the two countries.
Tuija Brax informed Ngan of the results of the meeting between the Finish delegation and Vietnam’s auditing and financial bodies. In the coming times, the two sides will continue to strengthen cooperation and share experience in auditing and to boost exchange visits of the two countries’ parliaments, said Brax.
