Vietnam learns clean technology from Sweden

Representatives from 12 Swedish businesses joined their 200 peers from local firms at a seminar in Hanoi on September 18 to discuss sustainable business with clean water from Sweden.

At the event, Swedish businesses introduced their technologies relating to water supply and wastewater treatment, renewable energy and bio-gas production. They shared experience on environmental management and protection, efficient use of energy, as well as water resource and waste management.
The seminar provides an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to study clean technologies from Sweden as well as for Swedish ones to access the local market, said Nguyen Van Tai, Director of the Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment.
