Norway honoured for supporting Vietnam’s fishery development

Vietnam’s Ministry of Fisheries on June 12 awarded Per Gullik Starvnum, Norwegian Ambassador to Vietnam, the “For the Cause of Fisheries Industry’s Development” medal, Viet Nam News reported.
     Four other officials of the Norwegian Embassy and the Norwegian Agency for Development (Norad) also received the medal.
     Norway has, over its 30 years of relations with Vietnam, supported the country in a number of projects, including establishment of Fisheries Law and upgrading the Institute of Research on Water Animals and Plants.
