Sweden and China are already collaborating within a large number of fields. According to the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing the visit will provide opportunities for dialogue with Premier Wen Jiabao regarding political, economical and international issues.
The program includes an audience with King Carl XVI Gustaf as well as meetings with the Speaker of the Swedish Riksdag, Per Westerberg, and Prime Minister of Sweden, Fredrik Reinfeldt. Premier Wen will also participate in the international conference Stockholm+40 on the 25th April. The visit will start in Gothenburg.
