Danish food was recently on a National Thai TV! As the Danish restaurant ‘Noma’ in Copenhagen is ranked the world’s best restaurant in 2012, it’s time that Danish food is promoted in Thailand.
Earlier this month, Mr. Krisana Lalai of the Nation Channel visited the Danish Ambassador’s Residence to do a program on the Danish food.
Hosted by the Ambassador’s wife, Khun Ratanawadee Hemniti Winther, various well-presented Traditional Danish dishes including Smørrebrød of different toppings, Frikadeller, Flæskesteg, Ris a ‘la mande, and snaps were served.
Ms. Ubol Wichaidit, spouse of the first Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, also joined the food tasting. The program was on The Nation Chanel on Thursday 10 May 2012.
On May 14, the editor-in-chief of Thailand Tatler,a leading English-language lifestyle magazine, a journalist from TV 5 Global Network, and spouse of permanent secretary of the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs were also invited to taste the Danish food at the Ambassador’s Residence.
