Mechanical Factory 45-1 in the southern province of Dong Nai, Vietnam, has exported 33 wind turbine electricity generation towers to New Zealand under a contract worth US$1.2 million signed with Denmark.
Each wind turbine tower stands 67 metres high and weighs about 106 tonnes.
According to Vietnam News Agency, this was Vietnam’s first contract with a European country to manufacture wind mills which meet the US Mechanical Engineer’s Supplements Archive.
