Many Danes in Hong Kong gathered on Wednesday May 30th at the Mariners Club in Tsim Sha Tsui to find out what to do once the Danish Consulate General closes its doors on 31st of July this year, reports the Danish Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong (DCC).

Consul-General Mr. Torben Gettermann explained in great details how to take care of official documents and other issues that may arise.

The good news is that going forward Danes in Hong Kong will receive assistance from the Embassy in Beijing or the Consulate General in Guangzhou. A representative will visit Hong Kong regularly to help issuing passports.

The most important thing to do, if you are Danish living in Hong Kong, is to sign up on “Danskerlisten” – https://danskerlisten.um.dk/
