On August 1st 2012, the Danish Embassy in Bangkok gave 15 students an orientation to Denmark and the Danish Culture before traveling for a one-year stay in Denmark under the American Field Service (AFS) Program.
The hosts of the orientation included the spouse of the Danish Ambassador, Ms. Ratanawadee H. Winther (an AFS student in 1977), Ms. Ketkaew Chirapai (an AFS Student to Denmark in 2002), Eva Szeftel (Head of Visa Section), and Katrine Görtz Axelsen (Embassy Trainee for politics and public diplomacy).
The students will live and go to schools in different parts of Denmark
