Police and rescue services were called to a Bungalow located in Soi 11 off Jomtien Beach Road early on Thursday Morning to investigate reports of a Swedish man who had collapsed and died inside his bedroom, reports Pattaya News.
Inside the bedroom on the floor was the body of Mr. Sven Åke Löfgren aged 70. Police spoke with his Thai Wife who revealed that her Husband was sitting at his computer table located next to the bed using the internet when he stood up and collapsed onto the floor. Assistance was summoned but Mr. Löfgren had already passed-away. Mr. Löfgren was known to have a history of poor health and Police confirmed there was no signs of foul play in relation to the death.
A post-mortem examination will take place and the Swedish Embassy in Bangkok have been informed.
