Vu Khoan, the Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam, and Swedish Minister for Industry and Trade Thomas Östros, inaugurate a trade and investment seminar in Stockholm on Monday 8 November.
The two ministers will hold talks at the Industry and Trade Ministry after lunch the same day. Swedish exports to Vietnam amounted to SEK 813 million last year. Imports from Vietnam to Sweden 2003 was worth SEK 984 million.
The trade figures first half 2004 indicate a slowdown, or even dip, in Swedish-Vietnamese trade for the first time in several years.
