School’s out for summer for most children, but a dozen Danish children abroad will be offered a scholarship to attend the Summer School in Denmark.
Every year Danes Worldwide arranges a 3 week Summer School in Denmark for Danish children between 9-17 years, who ordinarily live outside Denmark’s borders.
The Summer School is a unqiue opportunity to increase knowledge of Denmark and the Danish language and to form networks with other global children and adolescents with Danish roots.
This year, Summer School offers free places for 12 students through a series of scholarships, which have been supported from Danish foundations and private sponsors. The scholarships will be granted to Danish parents abroad, who have limited financial resources to maintain and/or enhance their children’s connection to Denmark.
