New envoy in Stockholm

Thailand’s new ambassador to Sweden, Mr Apichart Chinwanno, delivered his credentials to HM King Carl XVI Gustaf on the 20th of January.
     Ambassador Chinwanno is born 1956; he has a doctorate from Oxford University and has been employed in the foreign service since 1985.
     Prior to being appointed ambassador to Sweden he headed the East Asia department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangkok.
