Swedish film festival in Lion city

A Swedish film festival is held in Singapore from 24 February to 2 March. Named ‘swedenmade film’, it features 16 Swedish films, from Ingmar Bergman classics to new productions.
     The opening title, screened at the 24th, is ‘Elina’ from 2002, directed by Klaus Härö. Guest of honour that evening is the renowned Swedish actress Bibi Andersson who also has a role in Elina.
     The festival is organised by the Swedish Embassy Singapore, Swedish Institute, Singapore Film Society and Golden Village.
