Vietnam promotion in Stockholm

One more event aiming to promote ties between Sweden and Vietnam is held Wednesday 12 April in Stockholm.
This time it is a theme day called ‘Discover Vietnam’, an event within the Focus Sweden Vietnam project, which is run by the East Asia Association at the Stockholm School of Economics.
On the agenda are art and design as well as business and politics. Swedish photographer Camilla Svensk exhibits Vietnam photos shot by her, art by the Vietnamese artist Van Duong Thanh will be displayed and Vietnam inspired dresses by Swedish designer Ulrika Sandström are on show as well.
And of course visitors can stomach some Vietnamese food between the rounds.
Business wise the theme day is rounded off with a discussion about Vietnam’s future and economic development.
The panel will feature Christina af Klint, project manager Swedish Federation of Trade, Ulrika Alnered-Lyckman from the National Board of Trade, Marie Sjölander Ministry for Foreign Affairs and former Ambassador of Sweden in Vietnam and Karl-Anders Larsson from Sida, Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.
Earlier this year, 15 January, did the same group arrange a Discover Sweden event in Ho Chi Minh City, which focused on Vietnamese students interested in Sweden.
