A crucial equipment for the embassy’s staff in order to get in contact with Danes in Thailand before and during a critical situation is the so called “List of Danes.” A list of names, addresses and contact information on all Danes residing permanently in Thailand.

Ulrik Helweg-Larsen emphasizes that the embassy is not expecting a critical situation to come any time soon. The guide is merely sent out as a part of a general plan of civil emergency preparedness.
