SKF doubles capacity in Jakarta

The Swedish ball bearings manufacturer SKF announced on Wednesday 14 September that it will erect a second factory next to its existing plant in Jakarta. Is the strong demand for ball bearings from motorcycle producers in Asia that prompted SKF to increase capacity at the Jakarta plant. The new facility will double SKF’s capacity in Indonesia and be inaugurated 2007, employing some 200 new workers.
