Royal Danish Embassy Joins Bed Push 2005

The Royal Danish Embassy together with the Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce will be participating in this years “Bed Push” event.
         “Bed Push 2005” takes place on 8 October. The event organised by the BNH Hospital to collect money for Thai charities. The target is to have 50 bed teams collect more than 2 million baht for charity.
         Every team decorates their own bed and pushes it through the city of Bangkok while collecting donations. 
         Starting out from the BNH Hospital at Convent Road the parade will bring participants down Sathorn Road, through Lumphini Park, up Silom Road over Narathiwat Junction and Suriwongse Road to the final destination at the British Club.
         The event will try for the Guinness Book of Records title for “Bed Push with highest number of beds”.
