The Embassy of Sweden in Manila and International Organization for Migration (IOM) in cooperation with Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Foreign Affairs, United Nations Country Team and the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Policy Center will host a seminar on Migration and Development: Opportunities and Obstacles on Thursday 20 October.
The event will be between 8:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M. at the J.V. Del Rosario Conference Room, 4/F Asian Institute of Management, 123 Paseo De Roxas, Makati City.
The seminar will also highlight the result and recommendation of the Global Commission on International Migration.
This will be a good opportunity to find out the perspective of each speakers on their respective views on opportunities and obstacles to achieving smooth migration flow between sending and receiving countries.
