Finnish engineering group Wärtsilä said in a Helsinki stock exchange statement Thursday 6 October that they had received orders worth more than EUR 50 million for 32 engines from Singapore’s Keppel FELS.
The Wärtsilä 26 type engines are to power four jack-up offshore oil rigs and two semi-submersible platforms. Also steerable thrusters for the platforms are included in the deal.
