Nordic Bank Continues Lending to Vietnamese Businesses

Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) held a seminar on providing credits to Vietnamese businesses in Quy Nhon city in the central Binh Dinh province on 23 November, 2005.
NIB vice president Soren K. Mortensen said in the meeting that the agency had provided US$260 million worth of preferential credits in Vietnam since 2000.
Most of them were in the form of long-term credits for up to 20 years including a five-year grace period.
Under the credit programs, the businesses can seek long-term credits through NIB’s local partner the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam.
