Finance minister Keat Chhon of Cambodia and WTO’s Secretary General Dr. Supachai Panitchpakdi, former finance minister of Thailand, met on 27 May with Denmarks’s minister for foreign affairs Per Stig Moller at a conference in Copenhagen about how to fight poverty in developing countries through better allocation of development cooperation funds and development oriented trade regulations.
The conference was held at the initiative of Denmark with participants from also the World Bank and the IMF in an attempt to further strenghten trade related development assistance.
