DTAC Interested In Listing On Thai SET

Dr. Thanong Bidaya, Thailand’s Finance Minister said January 18 he had met with Telenor group president and chief executive Jon Fredrik Baksaas and that the Telenor group is interested to list their subsidiary TAC on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).
TAC is already listed on The Stock Exchange of Singapore (SES).
“Telenor group’s president and chief executive told me that they plan to list DTAC’s stocks on the Thai stock market. I told him that it is a very good thing because the company already runs its business in Thailand,” Finance Minister Thanong Bidaya said.
The minister added that Baksaas highlighted the company’s long-term investment in Thailand and said that his company is ready to expand their investment too.
During the meeting, Baksaas also asked about the progress of establishing the National Telecommunication Commission of Thailand (NTC) which is expected to be an important commission with a key role in creating a fair business competition environment.
