Finland’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs has told embassy staff to keep their guard up after the attack on the Danish embassy in Indonesia.
Finland shares buildings with other Nordic countries or with Denmark in Ramallah, Jakarta.
Erkki Väätäinen, the ministry’s security chief, told the Finnish News Agency (STT) on Friday that the situation would be monitored and that embassies had been asked to report local developments.
Finland has not been directly threatened, Mr Väätäinen added.
“The attacks have targeted the Nordic countries, with which we share facilities,” he said.
