Danes Advised to Leave Indonesia

All Danish citizens in Indonesia are encouraged by the Danish Ministry for Foreign Affairs to leave the country. The advice, active as of Tuesday 7 February, is published on the website of the ministry and the Danish Embassy in Jakarta and has been distributed by email to Danish residents in Indonesia. 
      According to the message, the advice is based on credible information received by the ministry indicating that there is currently and increased risk for the safety of Danish interests in the country. As he Danish embassy in Jakarta is closed, Danes in need of assistance are asked to contact the embassy of another EU country or the Ministry in Copenhagen.   
      Danes that decide to overrule the warning are advised to be cautious.
